FRC Robotics 2016
About
This is the robot I designed for the 2016 FRC Robotics Competition: Stronghold. The drivetrain was designed from the ground up to work best on the complex terrain on the Stronghold field. While the team only had 8 involved members, we were able to qualify for the Georgia State Competition where we were finally eliminated during the final rounds of the competition.
The shooting mechanism involved two motors driving flywheels via pulleys. This was paired with a vision system for auto-aiming.
