 About

The ME 2110: Creative Decisions and Design Robotics Competition is a competition course all Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering Students are required to take. In the course, 60 teams of 4 students have six weeks to prototype, design, and build a fully functioning competition robot. My team, Alpha Fish, placed 9th overall in the competition and 4th in the design review where professors and industry sponsors voted on the most novel designs.

I was the lead designer for my team, coordinating prototype, design, and build efforts of my teammates. The entire robot was designed to be easily manufacturable using laser-cutters and fit together with finger-joints. Since few teams fully modeled their robots, many of their components were irreplaceable if damaged. We had modeled every component for our robot so that we could make multiple spare parts knowing our robot would be damaged during competition.
